From the moment he picked up a flag football belt at just 5 years old, Bax Brittain knew he loved the game. Now a standout wide receiver in 7th grade from Phoenix, Arizona, Bax has transitioned from early flag football success—marked by multiple championships—to the more physical world of tackle football, which he started in 2nd grade. His passion for the game has only grown stronger with each season.
Bax thrives on making tough catches and scoring touchdowns, and it’s clear he embraces both the flash and fundamentals of the wide receiver position. “I think being coachable and being consistent are two very important qualities for a WR,” he says, showing a maturity beyond his age. His football idol is Justin Jefferson, a receiver known for his precise route running and ability to create separation—traits Bax studies and works hard to emulate.

In addition to football, Bax also plays lacrosse, sharpening his agility and spatial awareness. He’s a dedicated athlete with a rigorous routine. On days without team practice, he hits the gym, works on his route running, and sticks to a disciplined diet to build muscle and improve performance. “Currently, I am on a diet and putting on some muscle,” he shares.

A regular at camps, Bax recently trained with Elev8QBAcademy and WR Magazine, where he appreciated the strong emphasis on wide receiver footwork—an area of his game he’s eager to refine. His short-term goal is clear: win another state championship. “I’ve already won three, but I want to add another one this year,” he says. His long-term focus? Speed. He’s working hard to increase his explosiveness and reports he’s already seeing progress.
Preparation is key for Bax. On game days, he has a routine: light lifting at the gym, stretching, a dose of ibuprofen, and music in his headphones to lock in. That focus has paid off—last season his team won the championship game 48-0, and he later helped the PHX Allstars earn a third-place finish at nationals.

One of the most important influences in his journey has been Coach Adam Stine, who has been by his side since kindergarten. Together, they’ve stacked up championships and built a bond rooted in trust and hard work. When asked what advice he’d give younger players, Bax says, “Practice every day so you don’t end up having to do it all in the end once you realize you’re behind.”
With a sharp work ethic, deep love for the game, and an eye on both the present and the future, Bax Brittain is a name to watch in youth football circles. What sets him apart isn’t just his skill—it’s his mindset, discipline, and hunger to get better every single day.
