Commanding the Field at a Young Age

Case Cromedy, a 5th grader at Roslyn Elementary in Abington, Pennsylvania, has been immersed in football since the age of five, inspired by his oldest brother and guided by his father. Set to graduate with the Class of 2033, Case has quickly embraced the quarterback position, relishing the responsibility and thrill of leading his offense.

For Case, being a quarterback means more than just throwing the ball—it’s about leadership and smart decision-making. “Great qualities in a QB are remaining calm, quick decisions, and smart reads,” he explains, and he looks up to NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes as a model for creativity, poise, and playmaking under pressure.

Case’s dedication extends beyond football. He enjoys basketball and has a keen interest in WWII history, showing that his focus and curiosity aren’t limited to the field. He has honed his skills through elite quarterback camps, including QB Universe, Steve Clarkson QB Retreat, and Henne-Cantafio camps, always striving to refine his mechanics, read defenses, and lead his team to success.

Consistency in mechanics has been Case’s biggest challenge, but he tackles it with discipline and preparation. Before games, he has a special pregame routine—practicing stiff arms on Thor’s Helmet and praying in the car with his dad. “My dad teaches me every day, not only the physical aspects of playing quarterback but the mental parts as well,” Case says. His father’s guidance reinforces a simple but powerful mantra: “Run your own race and dedicate yourself to learning your position.”

Case has been fortunate to avoid setbacks so far, but he approaches challenges as opportunities for growth. His work ethic is unwavering: “Work, work, work!” he says, embodying the discipline and dedication that set great quarterbacks apart. His first memorable football moment? Carrying his brother Blake’s pads from practice—a small act that sparked a lifelong passion for the game.

This December, Case will take his talents to the next level by attending the SoCal Quarterback Camp in San Diego, California, on December 20-21. There, he will compete with quarterbacks from across California and around the country, showcasing his skills, leadership, and determination on a national stage. With his talent, mindset, and family support, Case Cromedy is already a young quarterback to watch as he continues to grow into a true field general.
