At Westminster Christian Academy, freshman quarterback Jack Sengpiel is quickly making a name for himself. A former Academy-level soccer player for eight years, Jack made a life-changing decision in 7th grade: he picked up a football, started training at Elite Football Academy in St. Louis, and never looked back. It didn’t take long before he “caught the bug” for playing quarterback, embracing the competitive challenge and the strong brotherhood that football offers.

Jack’s transition wasn’t without obstacles. In 8th grade, he suffered a serious ACL tear, forcing him into a grueling recovery process. With the help of trainers, physical therapists, and coaches, Jack pushed through a difficult year, returning stronger and more determined than ever. That experience shaped his mindset: stay committed, put in the work, and understand that small gains lead to big wins.
On the field, Jack displays traits that are rare for a player his age. An exceptional communicator and leader, he combines a confident pocket presence with a quick, accurate release and remarkable football IQ. His poise, anticipation, and strategic awareness allow him to stay ahead of defenses. He’s athletic and mobile, able to roll out and deliver passes downfield or use his speed to escape pressure when needed. Jack’s arm strength, quick feet, and elite mindset make him an X factor whenever he steps on the field.
Jack models his approach to the game after Josh Allen, admiring the Buffalo Bills quarterback’s fearlessness and character. Off the field, Jack enjoys golf, gaming, and being active in his youth group, maintaining a balanced lifestyle that fuels his competitive drive.

This summer, Jack plans to attend camps at Samford, Mercer, Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, Southern Illinois, and Southeast Missouri, aiming to compete against top talent and prepare for a breakout varsity season. He’s already gained valuable experience at Lindenwood and SIU camps, where feedback from college coaches has pushed him to keep refining his game.
Currently, Jack trains with Midwest BOOM 7v7 in spring ball, lifts three times a week, focuses on quarterback development once or twice weekly, and sharpens his speed and quickness with additional training. Under the mentorship of Matt Biermann, owner of Elite Football Academy, Jack has built a strong technical foundation that he credits for his rapid development.

Jack’s freshman year JV stats were impressive, boasting a 75% completion rate, over 560 passing yards, and a quarterback rating of 106 while leading his team to a 6-1 record.
With the work ethic, mindset, and physical tools already in place, Jack Sengpiel is well on his way to becoming one of the premier quarterbacks in his class—and he’s only getting started.
