Jaylon Henderson is an incredible quarterback who has had a very successful college career. He started his journey at UTSA before transferring to Trinity Valley and eventually ending up at Boise State. In his senior year at Boise State, Jaylon was named the Offensive MVP of the Mountain West Championship Game after a fantastic performance against Hawaii. He threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 51 yards and a score.
While at Boise State, Jaylon played in nine games and started four of them. He completed a fantastic 62.2% of his passes for 1,080 yards and 12 touchdowns, with only two interceptions. He also rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
Before attending Boise State, Jaylon spent a season at Trinity Valley where he completed 100-of-187 passes for 1,081 yards and nine touchdowns with only one interception. He also rushed for 382 yards and three touchdowns. Jaylon began his college career at UTSA, appearing in four games during his freshman season in 2016.
In high school, Jaylon was a three-year starter and was named to the Touchdown Club of Houston’s prestigious 32-member 2014 Preseason UIL All-Greater Houston Team. He was also a second-team All-District selection in both his junior and senior years, throwing for a combined 2,245 yards and 24 touchdowns in those two seasons. Jaylon was also an all-district basketball player.
After his college career, Jaylon continued his love for football by playing in the arena football league and now in the Japan Football league. He was named the rookie of the year in the Japan Football league, an impressive accomplishment. Jaylon is about to play in one of the biggest games of his career, the Rice Bowl, and we can’t wait to watch him shine on the field. Jaylon has been involved with Quarterback Magazine camps since 2017, and the coaching staff has loved watching him grow and develop as a player from high school to college to the arena football league and now in the Japan Football league. They have no doubt that he will continue to excel and achieve great things.
