QB Jet Garza has been immersed in football for six years, inspired from the very start by watching his older brother play. “Since before I could crawl, I’d watch my big brother at football practice and games. I couldn’t wait until I was big enough to play,” Jet shares. His passion for the game has only grown since those early days on the sidelines.

What excites Jet most about football is winning and making plays as a quarterback. “I love making big plays and throwing TDs to my teammates,” he says. For Jet, being a great quarterback isn’t just about skill—it’s about leadership. “A great QB has strong leadership skills and guides teammates to victories. You also need a positive attitude, even when things don’t go your way.” Jet looks up to Josh Allen, admiring his fearlessness and work ethic as a model for his own development.

Off the field, Jet enjoys spending time with his family, fishing with his dad and brother, and staying active through basketball and golf. He has attended both winter and summer Elev8 camps, where he enjoys learning from college quarterbacks and spinning the ball with Coach Gio.

Jet has clear goals for the future. His short-term aim is to become one of the top ten QBs in the nation, and by this time next year, he hopes to throw 60 yards. He has faced challenges in simplifying the game and his role, but he overcame them by trusting his teammates and focusing on playing his best, one play at a time.

Pregame, Jet has a routine of stretching, throwing, and reviewing plays. He says a prayer and sets positive intentions before every game. His biggest mentor is his dad, Coach Garza, who continually pushes him to grow as a player and a leader.

To young athletes, Jet advises, “Never give up on your dreams and never ever say you can’t do something!” He handles setbacks, like tough losses, by using them as motivation to improve for his team. In the off-season, Jet trains daily, developing his football IQ, speed, strength, and arm skills to make every throw.

Jet’s favorite memories from football come from playing the sport he loves and working alongside his teammates. He also expresses gratitude to all the coaches and families who support his team. With his dedication, leadership, and love for the game, Jet Garza is a quarterback to watch for years to come.
