Josiah Wilson: A New Young Quarterback

Quarterback Josiah Wilson has always loved football. He loves the competition and making his family and friends proud. Playing quarterback is a perfect fit because he loves being part of every play and making the most significant contribution. 

Wilson’s love for the game started early; he played football for nine years. That dream became a reality in high school, and Wilson loved every minute. 

Josiah Wilson is a 9th-grade student in the Class of 2026 at Kimball High School, Tracy, CA.

He enjoys attending camps, 7-on-7, and workouts because he loves making new connections with coaches and players. 

Wilson’s favorite part of being a quarterback is leading his team to victory. He strives to be a role model for his teammates and works hard to make everyone proud.

In his opinion, QBs must have leadership skills if they want to win games. A great QB has to get the players around him to be great too. A QB has to motivate others and also give credit to others. He considers that a great QB must also work hard at his position. For example, learning footwork, how to read defenses, making good decisions, and playing in small spaces will help create a great QB.

Josiah is a speed player, and this helps him when he can’t get the pass off because he can make the defenders miss.

His top QB is Kyler Murray. He loves how he plays and feels like his game is similar. He is a great passer but also a quick, fast runner. People say that Josiah reminds them of him. He is also considered his top QB because he has excellent leadership skills shown on the field.

Josiah’s favorite thing about football is the feeling he gets when he makes a great play. He also loves the way his teammates and coaches react to his successes.

Football has taught Wilson many things, including how to be a leader and work hard. It has also helped him develop friendships that will last a lifetime. 

Quarterback Josiah Wilson is a rising star with a bright future ahead of him. Wilson plans to continue his football career in college and eventually hopes to play in the NFL. He is determined to achieve his goals and dreams.

His favorite things to do outside of football are mainly playing other sports like basketball and running track. He competes in the 100m, 200m, 400m, high jump, and long jump.

Josiah Wilson is a Quarterback with many goals and dreams. Josiah also loves music, movies, and spending time with his family and friends.

Josiah’s goal for the next 12 months is to make the varsity team a sophomore.  In the next six months, he wants to finish the season strong, improve every game and help his teammates improve. Josiah desires to work on getting bigger, faster, and more robust. After will be completing the first semester of his first year on the honor roll, he wants to continue spending time with his friends and family.

He believes that his parents were the reason why he had such a successful career and have helped him become more confident. 

His family is always cheering. Josiah’s friends are also an extensive support system; they never miss one of his games.

They are always there to encourage him, whether he wins or loses.
