My name is Danny Green and I am a student at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Middle School in Tucson, Arizona. I am a quarterback (QB) on my 13U football team and I also enjoy playing basketball. I have been playing football for a while now and I look up to great QBs like Patrick Mahomes and Peyton Manning as role models.
Being a good role model and leader for my teammates is important to me, so I try my best to be a positive influence on and off the field. I’ve had a few challenges in my football career, like breaking two bones during previous seasons, but I never let setbacks hold me back. I always push through and work even harder to come back stronger.
I have amazing coaches like Coach Ray Wells and my QB coach Giovando who have helped me become a better player. They have taught me to never give up and always give my best effort. I travel to Phoenix every Sunday to train with a fantastic QB coach, Mike Giovando. I also do gym workouts with other football players and I can’t wait to attend their 5th annual Winter Break camp in January.
On the football field, I’ve had some great moments, like throwing touchdowns to my friends and being named MVP during the Phoenix Turkey bowl. My favorite college football team is the LSU Tigers. To all the young athletes out there, my message is to never give up on your dreams and always work hard to be the best you can be. With dedication and determination, you can overcome any obstacle and achieve your goals.
