Cooper Paulter is a freshman quarterback from Murrieta Valley High School, already showing a deep passion and dedication to the game. With five years of experience under his belt, Cooper thrives on the physicality of football, relishing the challenges that come with playing quarterback.
What excites him most about the position is the art of throwing the football. He loves seeing a perfect spiral and placing the ball exactly where it needs to be. Cooper believes a quarterback must have a short memory when it comes to mistakes, emphasizing the importance of moving past bad plays quickly and staying focused on the next opportunity.

Inspired by RG3, Cooper admires quarterbacks who can do it all on the field, combining athleticism with smart decision-making. Off the field, he enjoys basketball, which helps him maintain agility and coordination. He’s also gained valuable experience attending a Maryland university camp, where his favorite part was learning new drills and expanding his skill set.
Looking ahead, Cooper has clear goals for his development. In six months, he aims to consistently throw 55 yards, and within a year, he hopes to reach 65 yards. Despite facing pressure from others to play different positions, he has remained committed to quarterback, overcoming doubts through hard work and perseverance.

His training routine reflects his disciplined approach: warming up his shoulders while walking, gradually progressing from light throws to faster, more powerful passes, and incorporating NFL or weighted balls into his practice. Cooper credits his 13u coach for changing his position to quarterback, a move that ultimately helped shape his football journey.

Cooper Paulter is headed to the 8th Annual SoCal QB Camp/Competition and will be showcasing his skill set with SoCal’s top QB coaches on December 20-21 in San Diego with Quarterback Magazine and Brady Performance.
His advice to other young athletes is simple yet powerful: don’t be afraid of competition. With his focus, determination, and love for the game, Cooper is well on his way to making a mark as a standout quarterback.
